Day #3 of Artist Talk .....

This is Day #3 of my searching out an artist who's work catches my eye and pulls me in to see more.

This piece, Another land another day another dream is so colorful and could easily be translated into clothe or glass or paper collage ... I am starting a series of sunflowers and the bold color used by Jessica Doyle in this image is inspirational.

I hope you will check it out and leave a comment here on the blog.

Seek out art that intrigues you and learn from it!

Step 4 - And I love a good implied table line ... don't you??

Step 6 - The background could use a value shift.

Step 7 - Add, of course we need a bit of implied texture!
