Butterflies in my tummy?

I painted in front of a large group of locals and strangers yesterday at the Jazz Fest. My wonderful husband, Tom, was there and several friends to cheer me on......what was I thinking?

Was I nervous, excited or had I eaten too many fresh baked cookies for the JCT booth?

I did have fun but it was different than what I had envisioned.
Would I do it again....probably, yes!

Don't know yet what the raffle netted for the art alliance but I think it went over well enough to repeat.

BUTTERFLIES IN MY TUMMY?
I think everyone, even an oldie like me, gets a few butterflies before a new experience....but don't let that stop you from trying new things. The more we face and tackle new things, the more we grow and learn.

Have a great day and try something new, something a scares you a little.

  1. Good for you!!! Wish I could have been there to see you. I, unfortunately, was painting circus banners in a cold, wet concrete-floored building.....ICK.
    Love the painting!!!!

Step 4 - And I love a good implied table line ... don't you??

Step 6 - The background could use a value shift.
