I positively love Negative Painting!!!!
I have to say that NEGATIVE PAINTING is one of my favorite things to teach and use in my own work. It is the way I think and interpret a painting subject (and even drawing subjects).
Not everyone likes it or "gets it" that way I do but I keep trying to inspire my students to paint with this technique ... a task I take on happily!
