Sunflowers!
Another trip to the Farmers' Market before art class ... today nothing edible .... I was on the hunt for SUNFLOWERS and the first vendor I have purchased from before had NONE .... but a new vender ... the first time for them had what I was looking for... beautiful SUNFLOWERS. A nice variety of sizes and colors, they aren't just yellow any more you know? They were very eager to have a paying customer and told me about the way they were grown and I could tell they were dedicated to the organic way of growing and harvesting the items. I smiled and told them these lovely ladies were going to be the subject for my art class today and they looked puzzled at first but after it sunk in they were interested in what I was telling them. We talked about gourds that he might have to sell next week .... mmmmmm ... what can I do with more gourds?

There is a site called All Free Crochet which collects free crochet patterns . . . sometimes they are listed seperately in their daily newsletter and sometimes they are in weekend wrap-up, like an d Etsy treasury, with other like items.
ReplyDeleteI never knew how thy were chosen and, yesterday, I found out . .so I sent two patterns in and they are now in their catalog. Can't wait to see when they appear in a newsletter.
