After seeing the moving TOY STORY 3, I went to my stash of toys and stuffed animals and selected my Sock Monkey to visit the studio.
My students were not as amused as I was but it was (and always will be) a good lesson.
Take something soft and cuddly, like a stuffed animal and draw it, photograph it, make a painting of it.
I hope you like the four paintings of the Sock Monkey .... not all were finished but you will get the idea.

I love Sock Monkey...sounds like a fun painting session to me!
ReplyDeleteLove all three student drawings . . and of course I like yours. I just want to stroke the longer ears on the bottom monkey . . . .he touches my heart. The middle onw looks like he is in shock that someone would see him without clothes and the top one reminds me of a train conductor . . no idea why, but he does.
ReplyDeleteGreat lesson!
