Friday ... final stretch!

Oh my, I have the last one started
but
I aggressively painted on the Hydrangeas...
making more work for myself but improving the look ...I think.
I like it and may stop on it.

The RED POPPY  has it's green back and I believe I will leave it alone.

Waiting on the paint to dry a bit on the GREEN SNOWDROPS so when I apply the next layer of paint I will have minimal smearing. While I wait, I am posting this blog and working on a few little tasks.
I need to print out the tags and check all the edges for missed spots.
I have signed them all but this last one.

The rest of the afternoon will be spent on the completion of the GREEN SNOWDROPS ... It has been the hardest ... hopefully it will not show the stress I had in completing it.

I will post the final image and the entire series.
thanks for following along.

  1. Teri, generally I have found that the pieces we fret over the most NEVER show it to others...people love them.

  2. I think you've done it! I've been told, they covet these blooms on Martha's Vineyard for weddings and often steal them from other people's yards during the wee hours of the morning. I think yours are stunning.

Step 3 - It wouldn't be mine if there weren't any cast shadows.

Easter Pear Step 4

Step 4 - And I love a good implied table line ... don't you??

Easter Pear Step 5

Step 5 - Oh, better kick up the value a bit!

Step 6 - The background could use a value shift.
