Hello followers and bloggers!!!!! I have been neglecting my blog!!!!!!!!
I have been drifting in an after holiday FOG but am feeling better and getting back to normal ... whatever "normal" is. This is my first blog posting of 2010!!!
I have been reading many of your posts but expended no energy to reply or throw in my 2 cent worth. I am sorry to have missed out on so much ... I am charging my self up and hopefully will be posting every day again.

This challenge/contest from CoolMomPicks helped me get out of the depths and pick up pencil and pen for a good cause ... No computer generated images here ... just my little sketches refined and inked for the contest. I don't know if I will win but it is a deadline and entry that gets me going!!!

I can now walk away from the Easter Pear!!!
Easter Pear?

I like pears better than eggs!!!
Easter Pear Step 1

Step 1 - I thought this would be enough ... silly me!
Easter Pear Step 2

Step 2 - I wanted to add a bit of EGG Whimsy.
Easter Pear Step 3

Step 3 - It wouldn't be mine if there weren't any cast shadows.
Easter Pear Step 4

Step 4 - And I love a good implied table line ... don't you??
Easter Pear Step 5

Step 5 - Oh, better kick up the value a bit!
Easter Pear Step 6

Step 6 - The background could use a value shift.
Easter Pear Step 7

Step 7 - Add, of course we need a bit of implied texture!
Hey there!!! Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteI have not had time to be in a post holiday fog....or maybe I'm always in a fog and just don't know it! LOL! I'd vote for the second, for sure!
Been busy, as much as I can be right now......
Hope things are going good for you. Take care and glad you're still out here in blogland!
XXOO!!

She's back! Yay!
ReplyDeleteI am trying to teach shading to my daughter. Imagine my surprise that I could still draw a pretty decent egg-ish-like shape. LOL. Impressing my tween was the highlight of my weekend last week!

It is nice to take a little blog break every once in a while.
