I am not a morning person but I have friends who are and they tell me that there are spectacular images to be seen in the early hours of the days ... but you have to move fast!
I was up this AM and watching my birds at the feed and noticed the bright color and before I got my shoes on, the sun was moving and the glow was fading.
I snapped a few but the lesson is ... be ready (and maybe faster) to observe and record ... what ever the time of day!

I can now walk away from the Easter Pear!!!
Easter Pear?

I like pears better than eggs!!!
Easter Pear Step 1

Step 1 - I thought this would be enough ... silly me!
Easter Pear Step 2

Step 2 - I wanted to add a bit of EGG Whimsy.
Easter Pear Step 3

Step 3 - It wouldn't be mine if there weren't any cast shadows.
Easter Pear Step 4

Step 4 - And I love a good implied table line ... don't you??
Easter Pear Step 5

Step 5 - Oh, better kick up the value a bit!
Easter Pear Step 6

Step 6 - The background could use a value shift.
Easter Pear Step 7

Step 7 - Add, of course we need a bit of implied texture!
And be prepared to run out in your night clothes as fast as you can go....because truly, there are only a few fleeting moments to grab that exceptional glow and beauty!
ReplyDeleteAnd it's totally different than sunset color---that's what amazes me. I have always thought it would be the same, but there is a distinct difference, except after a really bad rain storm. Then the colors are quite similar.
And this is much more than you wanted to know.....LOL!!!!
The ivy is beautiful, and I bet it was even more vibrant than the photo shows....you learn to memorize the color from those morning shots.
Bravo! I'm proud of you!!!
XXOO!!!
