Hello everyone ... thought I should post a bit and let any followers out there know that I am okay, just busy... in a good way. My hubby is in a play for our local community theater group, The Odd Couple. He is playing the part of Felix Unger (the neat one)... and this is not too far from the truth for my DH. Our kids were home earlier in September for birthday celebrations and will return for the show this weekend.
We run lines ... alot ... that is how he learns his lines and that is how I support him and his "love" ... acting. It takes time to run lines, I have to read for every part to cue him for his lines ... I am so amazed at his ability to learn and remember all the words, in their proper order.
I have worked in theater all my life as well, but always in set design, theater art and publicity art... never on the stage. I send out a big round of applause to all community theater groups and the actors that put their heart and soul into their parts ... break a leg!!

ReplyDeleteI couldn't remember a line if my life depended on it; thus the studio covered with papers, all with something IMPORTANT scribbled on them, a dayplanner overflowing with notes...memory is a blessing. My DH is the same; he reads/hears it once, it's there forever. (which is not always good....)
